Simple and Sinister | Week 1 Reflections
Here are my week 1 Simple and Sinister reflections:
The Upside
It is simple. Two Exercises. Very clear program.
I like that I didn’t have to think about what to do.
The focus on approaching each set with a heart-rate that is under control made it very accessible, too.
After each session I felt particularly energized!
The Downside
Even though it was the first week, only two exercises can get kind of boring.
I missed doing some of the more ballistic/dynamic movements.
I also noticed that my overall calories burned took a bit of a dip.
Other thoughts
Turkish Get Ups still seem somewhat foreign.
It takes some mental energy to think through each rep.
Days of the Week Rundown:
Day 1: Double-handed with 20 kg
Day 2: Singles with 24 kg
Day 3: Singles with 24 kg
Day 4: Singles with 24 kg
Day 5: Singles with 24 kg
